Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Vocalis. By creating an account, linking your phone number, or texting with Vocalis, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Description of Service
Vocalis is an AI powered social confidence coaching companion delivered through text messages. Vocalis helps you build social confidence through conversation, encouragement, and practical suggestions based on the information you share with it.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vocalis. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Not a Medical or Mental Health Service
Vocalis is a confidence coaching tool. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental health treatment. Vocalis is not staffed by licensed clinicians and does not diagnose, treat, or provide crisis intervention for any medical or mental health condition.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self harm, or any medical emergency, please contact your local emergency services immediately or reach out to a crisis line, such as the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the United States (call or text 988). Do not rely on Vocalis for emergency support.
Acceptable Use
When using Vocalis, you agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or age
- Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the underlying technology of the service
We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
Messaging Consent and SMS Terms
By linking your phone number to your Vocalis account, you consent to receive text messages from Vocalis, including coaching conversations, assessment prompts, and occasional proactive messages related to your goals and progress. Message frequency varies based on your use of the service. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. You can opt out of messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance.
Account and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs through your linked phone number. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
No Warranty
Vocalis is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the coaching advice provided will achieve any particular outcome.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vocalis and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may stop using Vocalis at any time by replying STOP to opt out of messages or by contacting us to close your account. We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Vocalis after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
